Hi Audra,

Vitex increases luteinizing hormone production while mildly inhibiting the release of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). This indirectly boosts progesterone production and chances of achieving and maintaining a successful pregnancy. Vitex needs to be taken consistently for 3-6 months or longer for best results. Without knowing what other Chinese herbs you are taking it is hard for me to say whether taking Maca and Royal Jelly would be overkill. Sometimes asking advice from different practitioners can cause confusion due to conflicting opinions or advice, I recommend asking your practitioner for advice on adding the Maca and Royal Jelly to the Chinese herbs you are already taking.

Best Wishes,
Dalene
