Hi Debbie,

This post you are replying to, to Jenn is pretty old, 4/3/08. So it is unlikely she will respond. It is highly likely you may be beginning menopause. It would be a great idea to see your doctor, to know for sure your chances of conceiving and carrying a baby to term at your age.

Best Wishes,

Dalene

Hello Jenn,
I am 51 yrs old and in a new relationship. My significant other has never had a child and would be thrilled to become a Father..I would like to know if pregnancy is possible. My youngest child is now 27. Would like to become pregnant but its not something I am worried about. If it happens then it's great but if I can't then I won't be too discouraged. I am taking FertilPlus and I am using AlkaGreens and body cleansings. My periods are scattered. I have been on the FertilPlus for over a month and had normal period after the 2nd week I started using FertilPlus. I will be due in a week for my next period and I am hoping I will have another normal period. If I go to my Gynecologist,..will they know what my chances of conceiving will be? Any input would be wonderful
Thank you

Hi Hethir,
I had just seen my ob/gyn and he put me on bcp to regulate my period seeing I haven't had one since last july. My questions is can I still take the progonB with bcp and is so when in my cycle do I take them. Thanks.

I've been on treatment for hyperthyroidism and Pcos. At the moment i'm off any thyroid medication and on 1000mg of glaucophage twice a day.
I suffered one miscarriage in June 2006 and after that i had a laproscopic ovarian drilling for PCOS, and have been ttc since last year. I've come to know that my left tube does not have an opening, and during a series of follicular scans came to know that my left ovary is releasing most of the follicles every month while the right ovary is releasing once in 3-4 months.
My cycles have been regular, but i want to know what needs to be done in a natural way to ensure that both my ovaries produce and release more follicles since conception chances will be higher. How can I turn all anovulatory cycles to ovulatory ones and have a successful conception.
I've turned towards yoga and healthy diet to reduce the PCOS. I'd like to know which foods can increase ovulation and ensure proper pregnancy. I've heard of visualisation techniques for ovulation and conception, I need more information on this.
I'm 391/2 and desperately need a healthy baby. Please help.

I would like a good place (website) to find all of the herbs and vitamins you talk about.
I have also had problems with your website from submitting comments to ordering yoga.
For me personally I'd like more information about how much weight and estrogen affecting fertility. Side effect from birth control that cause problems with for women getting pregnant later on. I have met several women who had an IUD and haven't been able to conceive since they had it removed. Is there anything else like that?
This website has been the most helpful I've ever found! Thank you.

I would also like to know whether there are herbs that are good for PCOS, as I have heard of people controlling their PCOS with herbs. Also, do you know anything about homeopathy and fertility? I have heard that natrum muriaticum tissue salts can help.

Greetings;

My concern is borderline to high FSH and elevated estradiol. I am interested in specific dietary and exercise regime, outside of yoga. During the week I do not have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen preparing meals or supplements, so I need something quick and simple, but yet it must taste good or I nor my husband will eat it.

I am a 40 year old women in good health, appropriate weight and most days lots of energy.

Hi Hethir!

Thanks for asking....I am 46 and trying to get pregnant. I am looking for exact diet and vitamin information. I am taking a prenatal vitamin, Super B Complex, C, E, Calcium, Magnesium, Flaxseed Oil, FertileCM and aspirin everyday. I just bought Pre-Seed and some ovulation tests. What else do i need?

Can you take too many vitamins? What herbs and vitamins should you be taking? What foods should you eat? Not eat? I just found out that green peas are a natural contraceptive!! and wild yams too.

Any advice is always appreciated - thanks so much for your help!

Hi Hethir,

As a busy teacher working in a rural area of Suffolk, I would like to see more recipies using reasonably inexpensive everyday ingredients that are easy to get hold of. I loved your fertility smoothie ideas, so more quick and easy super-food meals ideas would be great.

Thanks for all the advice on your website and the emails. I am so happy (although still a little apprehensive as it is early days) -I am now 10 weeks pregnant!!

Hi Hethir

As someone who writes about lifestyle, I would like to see the importance of detoxification, a diet of organice whole foods (high raw, almost vegetarian), exercise, sleep, water consumption, exposure to natural light and stress relief techniques emphasises over supplementation, herbs and therapies.

This is the road I'm following and once I feel that I'm nearing a point of excellent health, I will start having reflexology again and taking "fertility supplements". But for now getting my body in tip-tip condition is the most important aspect... I am literally building a new body from the inside out!

I will be spending some time here in the next few days!

I have PCOS and would like to hear about the different types of PCOS that have now been talked about, and about the best supplements and diet for PCOS. I have heard that PCOS is now thought to be several different problems that have been lumped together. I have also heard it is thought to be autoimmune, and that it's often correlated with gluten intolerance. I would also like to know if the radical vegans have it right that fat causes insulin resistance, or if it's sugar as Atkins has said.
