Q: Can I take my other supplements while I am on the Fertility Cleanse?
A: While on the Fertility Cleanse it is best to not take additional herbs or supplements unless they are your multivitamin, omega 3, or medications that you must take.
Q: If I don’t have a period, when should I start my Fertility Cleanse?
A: If you do not have a period due to PCOS or other reasons you would then choose your own start date.
Q: When is the best time of day to take my Fertility Cleanse products? Do I need to take them with food?
A: I think the Fertility Cleanse Products are best taken at two different times of the day. In the morning and in the evening. It is not necessary to take them with food, but you can take them with a meal if you like.

Has the fertility cleanse kit helped anyone with they fertility?
Hi Kate,
The Fertility Cleanse has helped many women get their periods back, pain from endometriosis has gone away, ovulation resumed, and some even lost weight. Many have gone on to become pregnant after bringing their bodies back to balance and making the lifestyle changes that create a healthy body. You can read our testimonials here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/testimonials
I really want to get your fertility cleanse product. Can you help me with this? Thank you

Can I complete the fertility cleanse while taking Prometrium and Clomid?
Thanks,
Melanie
Hi Melanie,
We don’t recommend taking any herbs while on fertility medications. The Fertility Cleanse lasts approx. one month. If you have a month where you are not taking fertility meds. then that could be you month to do it.
Warmly,
Dalene
Hi Dalene
I have endometriosis and bought the fertilty Cleanse kit and Endowise kit(Dim,Zymessence& progestrone cream,Womens Best Friend).I completed the fertility cleanse last month and since am TTC , i sought your advice in this regard as to what to do and asyou suggested i do not TTC on the month am on the cleanse and start fertility enzyme therapy for the next 2 months post cleanse.I did the same ..this is my first month of enzyme therapy(I take Zymessence 3 times a day on empty stomach, DIM twice a day,WBF thrice a day and apply emerita progestrone cream twice(dime size)).Now i am TTC as i dont want to waste time.. and as Progestrone cream was advised to be taken from days 8 to 26 of my cycle..
Reference :”Progesterone for endometriosis : If you have endometriosis, Dr. John Lee recommends using progesterone from days 8 to 26 of your cycle, to reduce the effects of estrogen on the body (estrogen stimulates endometrial growth). Take a short week off to refresh your receptor sites.”
I already started that. However i noted that while charting my BBT, it shows likely ovulation around Day16(not sure though) and we did try around dat day but to my shock, i am reading above that Progestrone cream suppresses ovulation.. if yes, should i stop taking it from day8 and take after ovulation?? am so worried now bcos i was not told of this in the kit instructions and in hethir’s reply even though i mentioned am TTC .. pls.. guide me what to do ..i am hoping so much for a baby.. though i have moderate endometriosis, i still get my monthly cycles regularly and think dont have problem ovulating.. help me Dalene..
Hi Randy,
You would only want to take the Progesterone Cream starting on day 8 if you are wanting to work toward reducing the effects of endometriosis. This would be for someone who would like to get the pain, inflammation and endometrial growth under control before trying to conceive. In your case you only have mild endometriosis and you are ttc, because of that and the fact you chart your cycle, you may want to use the cream after ovulation up to your period. Progesterone Cream can suppress ovulation if it is taken before ovulation. Thanks for your question. Sorry for the confusion!

i would like to unblock my tubes and get rid of fibroids in womb what do i take first . help!
michelle
Hi Michelle,
I would first recommend reading over our Blocked Fallopian Tube page and our Uterine Fibroids page.
It is difficult for us to answer your questions based on just a small piece of the bigger picture of your health. It is helpful for us to know your lifestyle, health history, fertility challenges and detailed questions. That is why Hethir has created Fertility Consultations. This will better help us to guide you in the right direction for bringing about a balanced body and fertility. Honestly we need more information to serve you better. In your case I recommend a Natural Fertility Consultation.
All the best,

Please i want to know what the fertility cleanse can do for me if i start using it, now that l’ve stop any fertility treatment for sometime i also have pains during my menses. Please help! i would love to get pregnant soon.
Hi Achiaamaa,
When you are preparing for conception, it may be a good idea to start out with a cleanse to renew your body, blood, and uterus. There are specific herbs that help to support the liver to getting rid of excess hormones and toxins. There are also herbs and nutrients that support the uterus to cleanse of old contents and stagnant blood. The Fertility Cleanse is always a great place to begin on any fertility journey. Because Ovarian Cysts are the product of failed or disordered ovulation and this shows us there is hormonal imbalance, the Fertility Cleanse gently cleanses the liver therefore promoting hormonal imbalance. One way an ovarian cyst is formed when the follicle does not release its egg and the follicle continues to grow forming a cyst. We have a great page on Ovarian Cysts and understanding which natural therapies are best for reducing/dissolving them.
If you are concerned about your pain, you may want to have your doctor check to see if the cyst has grown in size.

hi
i bought the fertility cleanse and started taking it on the 29th of Dec and on the 2 of jan i started spotting and i am still spotting i dont have a regular period i wanted to know do i still do the fertility cleanse or do i stop
Hi Diana,
Because you don’t have a regular period and you are spotting it may be ok to continue with the cleanse. If your spotting turns into a full period please stop the herbs while you are still menstruating and then begin them again when your period ends. Count out the days of the cleanse as if you have a normal cycle.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
I have completed a month of the fertility cleanse and around the time my period was due i spotted lightly for 3 days. Is this the effects of the cleanse or should i see my doc to see if it is pregnancy related. no cramps whatsoever as i usually have, could that be due to womens bf??? i also have experienced sore breasts longer than usual. Please help
Hi Tiffany,
Is there a chance you are pregnant? If you think that there is a chance please take a pregnancy test. Every woman’s body is different and they experience the hormonal changes from the cleanse differently, the spotting may be from these changes. The reduced cramping may be from the Women’s Best Friend. Don’t panic, everything will sort itself out.
Warmly,
Dalene
Thx for the timely response. Turns out I’m not pregnant
. Though I worry if my stubes are blocked. I requested and HSG from my doctor and she wouldnt write a referel. She wants me to wait it out. If my tubes were blocked, would “Zymessence” be a supplement to take to undo any damage that could be done?
Hi Tiffany,
Zymessence may be a great product to learn about. We had a woman recently on the forum who unblocked her fallopian tube with the use of this product along with other therapies such as fertility massage and the Fertility Cleanse. It would be best to know if your tubes are blocked or not. Do you have reason to believe they are?

I just had a miscarriage two week ago. Is this safe to take Fertility Cleanse? Thanks.
Hi Ashley,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Choosing to do a Fertility Cleanse is up to you. It may be best to wait a couple of weeks to let your body heal and rest!
Warmly,
Dalene
Thanks! much Dalene.
BTW, I am starting to make Fertility Smoothies . Is this safe to drink Fertility Smoothies with Chinese herbs in the same day? My Western Dr. prescribe me an herb to take to build up my energy after a miscarriage? I want to make sure that it is safe to drink Fertility Smoothies with herbal since in smoothies also have Maca, Royal jelly and spirulina. Please advice.
Thanks,
–Ashley
Hi Ashley,
Since I do not know what Chinese herbs you are taking I cannot say for sure, but Maca, spirulina and Royal Jelly are superfoods and are safe to take with most anything (unless you are allergic).
All the best,
Dalene
Thanks! Dalene for the feedback.
–Ashley
I was reading about the fertility cleanse kit and the suggested use is more than the kit supplies? Do you suggest buying more than one kit? For instance: Why does it suggest using the conceptions tea for 4-6 months when the kit only comes with a 3 week supply? Also the liver renew caps it suggests taking for 1-2 months but only comes with a 10 day supply? All of the items in the kit are less than the amount needed.
Would one kit be sufficient for me: healthy, regular periods, no problems, mild acne, just wanting to get cleansed and be ready to try and get pregnant for the first time ever?
Thanks!
Hi Arianna,
Some of the products in the kit may be purchased separately from the kit and the directions on the label for those products are specific to using them outside of the Fertility Cleanse. Please follow the directions that came with the Fertility Cleanse Kit, those directions are specific to using the products just for the cleansing. The Fertility Cleanse Kit comes with just the right amount of products for one month or one menstrual cycle of cleansing. One kit is all you need.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
Hi Darlene,
I am preparing for pregnancy (after two miscarriages) and ordered the Fertility Cleanse Kit for next cycle. I am currently taking Vitex, Maca, and DIM. I am curious if I should stop taking them during the cleanse or if it is okay to continue taking them while I cleanse. Any information you have would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance,
Chelsie
Hi Chelsie,
Please stop taking the Vitex and DIM during the cleanse. You may begin them again when the cleanse is over.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
How soon after the cleanse can I start trying to conceive?
Dear Noel,
It is safe to start trying to conceive the cycle after the cleanse is over.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
Dalene,
I have not purchased the Cleanse yet but am seriously considering it. If I were to get it and start taking it would I consider my first day on it as day one (I am currently at day 58 in my cycle with no period in sight) since I dont know when/if my period will come back? Also, hopefully the cleanse would reinstate my cycles, but if for some reason it doesnt, would it be safe for me to begin TTC again after I finished the kit even if I didnt begin my period?
Hi Kara,
Day one would be the first day of your period. If you do not have a regular cycle you would begin on any day you choose and count out the days as if you did have a regular menstrual cycle. The Fertility Cleanse Kit is not guranteed to bring your period back, though it may help. It is to create a healthy foundation for balanced hormones and a health uterus. Yes, it is safe to try and conceive after the cleanse is over, ttc during the cleanse is not advised as it may pass toxins onto your unborn child.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
Dalene,
I am currently taking Metformin for PCOS. Can I continue to take the metformin while I am doing the Fertility Cleanse?
Dear Mary,
Fertility medications should not be used during the Fertility Cleanse Kit.

Is it okay to take Maca while on the fertility cleanse, or should I hold off until completing the cleanse.
Also, I purchased the Whole Food Baby and Me vitamin, is this okay to take while doing the cleanse?
Thank you.
Hi Rachel,
Yes both Maca and Baby and Me Multivitamin are fine to take during the cleanse.
You are welcome,
Dalene
Hi, I had a D&E procedure 5 weeks back. In my follow up U/S they saw a small polyp and asked me to wait for my period to come back to flush it out. I have not got my period yet. I want to take the fertility clease to help jump start the period and clease everything. Please advice if it will help me in this process?
Thanks
Danielle
Hi Danielle,
I am not sure I understand your doctor wanting to wait until your period to flush the polyp? Are you going to have a procedure to remove it and then by you menstruating, the bleeding will help flush out the tissues from the procedure?
The Fertility Cleanse may help you to get your period back, but there is no gurantee that it will bring menstruation on. It really depends on your situation and why you had a D&C? If you had a miscarriage it may take some time before your period comes back. If you have additional questions please contact me at info@natural-fertility-info.com

Is the fertility cleanse helpful for those experiencing recurrent losses?
Hi Mindy,
Our # 1 tip on our Recurrent Miscarriages page is for the Fertility Cleanse. Preparing ahead of time for your pregnancy is the key to decreasing the chances of a miscarriage. There are steps you can take to reduce the chances of another pregnancy loss, but they must be begun months before you become pregnant again. The first step is to prepare your body with a Fertility Cleanse. Fertility cleansing helps to cleanse the liver of old toxins and excess hormones, rid the uterus of any “old” contents, and cleansing the blood.
To learn about all the steps that can be taken that may help to prevent future miscarriages please go to this link: http://natural-fertility-info.com/preventing-miscarriage

Should the Milk Thistle drops be taken with water?
I never took them like that before
Hi Helen,
The milk thistle tincture may be taken straight from the bottle or mixed with a bit of water. It tastes better with a little bit of water because it is an alcohol extract.
All the best,
Dalene
I am still on the cleanse, and about a third way through it, but I’m having side effects from it; gassiness and diarrhea. Could you tell me why this happens?
For me gassiness usually occurs in the evening and I’ve had diarrhea 3 times already usually more than once per day.
Hi Helen,
My first question is are you taking the proper dosage? What kinds of foods are you eating, are you eating differently than you are used to? For example did you start eating healthier (Natural Fertility Diet) when you began the cleanse? You may want to lower the dosage of the supplements you are taking. Are you drinking plenty of water? If your body is not used to taking herbs or drinking a lot of fluids each day it may be causing the diarrhea. As for the gas, are you taking the herbs on an empty stomach or with food?
Looking forward to your answers,
Dalene
Hi I am just finishing the first part of the fertiltiy cleanse, tomorrow I am to begin the second part but today I started with a light staining and wondered if this is normal. My periods are usually very regular.
Hi Melanie,
Some women have had some slight spotting around ovulation, this could be a sign you are ovulating. Is is just very light or have you started your period?
Warmly,
Dalene
Hi
I have started the cleanse and about half way through phase 2 of the cleanse. This afternoon I have started to have mild headaches and also have some spotting. Do I wait for a few days or do I stop the cleanse straightaway as I am not sure if I am menstruating due to irregular periods. Although most of my periods when they do come do so around the begininng of the month and I am midway in my cycle at the moment. I am also hoping to take the fertilty drugs but they are to be taken on day two and Im not sure if I should live it to instinct and wait until the end of the cleanse and then take the drugs????
Hi J,
Headaches are a normal part of the liver cleanse phase and are often alleviated by drinking plenty of water. If you are just spotting you may continue on, if the spotting turns into a full bleeding menstration time, then you would stop the cleanse and wait to finish it until your bleeding ends. I am not sure what you mean by fertility drugs and when you should begin them. If you have concerns about when to take certain products please submit your questions here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/contact-us

Hi Dalene
I was on the birth control pill for 3 years and stopped 1 year ago. After I stopped I had my period but then on the following month I didn’t. After 3 months without my period my gynecologist gave me some hormone pills, which helped me get my period once, but the following month I didn’t have my period. Now its been 5 months with no menses and wanted to try a more natural way. Could you please let me know what I need to do to help my body regulate itself? Should I start with the cleanse? then what should I do? We would love to get pregnant soon, please help!
Thanks!
Hi Ana Pavesi,
While your doctor probably had good intentions when prescribing more hormonal medications, this may have extended the problem and does not address the root of the issue: why you don’t have normal cycles to begin with. Anytime between the time you stop using it and up to a year afterward is considered a normal time frame in which it will take for your body, on it’s own to regulate your hormones and start a regular menstrual cycle. If you were taking birth control to help regulate your cycles or for other fertility issues this average may not apply because your cycles may have not been regular to begin with and there are no guarantees that the birth control use is going to keep them regulated like when you were using it.
Most birth control pills are combination pills, they contain estrogen and progestin. Some contain only progestin, but the majority of women use combination pills. These work by preventing the ovary from releasing eggs. They also thicken cervical mucous making it hard for sperm to reach the uterus. This method also thins the uterine lining which may prevent implantation. Because of these effects on your body you are going to want to focus on the following:
-Cleanse the body of excess synthetic hormones
- Regulate Hormones
- Support Healthy Cervical Mucous
- Improve Uterine Health
There are so many ways hormonal birth control affects your health that there is no way I can cover them all here. You can learn the best steps to take when coming off of birth control at this link: http://natural-fertility-info.com/birth-control-fertility.html

What can happen if you get pregnant while using the fertility cleanse?
Is there a pill substitute for the liver cleanse tea and conceptions tea but mainly the liver cleanse tea i’ve been on the mirena for three yrs recently removed and i order the fertility kit hoping to concieve soon.
Hi Antonette,
Cleansing while pregnant may pass toxins on to your rapidly forming fetus.
The Fertility Cleanse Kit comes with Liver Renew capsules and Women’s Best Friend capsules, but these are combined with the teas in the Fertility Cleanse for maximum cleansing benefit and are not considered a replacement for the teas. You do not have to use the teas, but you will miss out on the wonderful cleansing, nourishing and replenishing benefits of them.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
Thank you very much. I drink the tea cold, I can gulp it down. Is it dangerous though, the toxins? We’ve been careful, but it’s still something the scares me.
Hi Antonette,
We have had some women conceive while doing the Fertility Cleanse. All of their babies are fine, but it is possible to pass toxins to your developing baby, that is why it is best to NOT try and conceive during a cleansing cycle.

Dalene

Hi Crystal,
I am sorry to hear of your struggles! It sounds like you have a lot to sort through, I know it can be confusing to know what may help you. Below are some links to articles that may help you to learn what holistic therapies may help your body. Fertility Cleansing is a great foundation for any type of fertility issue, or for any woman wanting to prepare their body for pregnancy. It is not a “cure all” though. Fertility Cleansing creates a “clean slate” within the body that helps the body to respond and utilize other natural remedies better.

Hello,
Thank you for putting the fertility cleanse together, such a thing does not seem to be available here in the UK.
I am about half way through the second phase with the conceptions tea and also women’s best friend capsules. In the middle of the night a few days ago I woke up in severe pain around my lower abdomen (where I would normally get period pains) and lower right side (where I would normally get pain around ovulation), the pain was unlike anything that I had experienced and I also felt sick. I normally get quite painful periods.
This morning I woke up with dihorrea and I felt like I was really going to vomit and pass out, I went into a cold sweat for a few minutes.
Please could you advise? I am assuming that these are horrible yet possitive side effects meaning that the cleanse is working. However, I still have nausea quite bad which is stopping me from taking todays dosage or anything else for that matter.
To close, I have been mixing the teas with pepermint or ginger and honey tea bags for flavour. Having read some of the above questions, I am wondering if this is safe?
Many thanks
Hi Chantel,
You are welcome. You are not the only woman who has written in with a similar experience, although what you are describing sounds a bit more extreme. Women’s Best Friend is known to make fertility issues flare up or feel worse at first, this may be inconvenient and worrysome, but this is a sign it is working; doing its job. After this two weeks it should go away. If you feel pain that you cannot handle, you could try lowering the dosage or discontinuing the product. It may be that you are having a reaction to the products. If you still feel horrible it may be best to stop taking these products. You did not mention what fertility issues you have or why you chose to cleanse. Women with endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, typically painful menstruation, ect are more likely to report pain in this phase.
In the future if you are needing a response right away about your concerns please contact us at this link: http://www.naturalfertilityshop.com/help_answer.asp?ID=17
I hope you are feeling better.

WILL THE FERTILITY CLEANSING KIT BE TO MY BENEFIT IF I DO NOT HAVE ANY MEDICAL PROBLEM – ONLY A AGE FACTOR OF 41??
HI Reinette,
Many women choose to Fertility Cleanse to maintain a healthy reproductive system, even if they do not have fertility issues. Women over 40 often need to focus on improving uterine and egg health as well as balancing hormones. A personal practitioner will be able to monitor and test your hormone levels as well as adjust remedies for your particular situation. Here are some guides that you may find helpful:

Hi, I have been experiencing amenorrhea after my d&c that was done like 6 months ago due to a spontaneous miscarriage. Lately, I’ve just started the fertility cleansing kit and was wondering what is the recommended duration ( for instance 1-2 months) before I could start taking other products like vitex or the progesterone cream. Kindly advise.
Hi Lucinda,
The Fertility Cleanse Kit is suggested for use for only 1-2 times a year, with a 6 month break in-between cleansing times. Each kit lasts for one menstrual cycle, it only should be done once. On the cycle following the Fertility Cleanse would be when Vitex and Natural Progesterone Cream could be started. Please follow the directions on each product.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
I just comleted the fertility cleaning three days ago. I feel some mild pain some times on my lower adomen another time in the left site. Is this normal, but i have not seen my period yet. Do you think i will see it soon? I also started vitex and dong quai today. is this Ok?
Hi Maggie,
Many women have reported feeling sensations in their ovary area after or during the Fertility Cleanse Kit, this is completely normal. If you had irregular periods prior to using the Fertility Cleanse, then you may or may not get your period. If you do not it is fine to begin the herbs you have chosen.

I have had two miscarriages in the past 6 months. We are seeing a specialist who wants to put me on birth control pills for 1 month to make sure we do not conceive while we are having a work up done. Can I do the fertility cleanse while taking the pill.
Thanks in advance for your response!
Hi Nikki,
NO. Please do not use the Fertility Cleanse Kit or other products from our shop while using birth control.

Dalene
Can i indulge in sexual intercourse while on fertility cleanse ?
We do not recommend trying to conceive while you are cleansing, but intercourse at other times besides your fertile time would be fine.
I have been TTC for 4 years now. I have endo as well as high FSH levels. I had a ectopic pregnancy a few years back which resulted in my right tube being removed. I am 37 years old and feel that time is not on my side, but I would like to keep trying for a bit longer. I am pretty sure my endo has come back and am wondering if this cleanse will help with endo as well as what you would suggest for high FSH levels.
Thanks so much!
T
I am seriously looking into purchasing the fertility cleanse kit soon. I am on the birth control Depo Provera. I have had 3 shots so far (9 months on Depo) and I just had my last shot on Dec. 3 2011. As you may notice I recently decided that this is not the thing for me due to all the horrible symptoms that I have encountered and just being on synthetic birth controls are really bad for the body. I am 22 years old now and want to have a family soon. That is another reason why I stopped because I hear it takes FOREVER to get pregnant after coming off the shot. Before I went on Depo, I have had a regular period, but now my periods are just spotting and a lot longer to come. My 4th shot, which I am not going to go, is due in Feb. 25 2012 and that will be the mark when I will start the cleanse, do you know how long after that day will I get a normal period back?? I really want to get to my “normal” self again asap.
Brittney,
It is hard to say how long it will take to get your period back. You are young so it may happen quicker for you, but don’t be discouraged if it takes some time. The body has to not only cleanse the excess hormones but it also has to get back on track. There are so many aspects to the monthly menstrual/fertility cycle, it is very complex. Think of it as an orchestra, it will take some time for everyone to get back in-tune. Also making sure you are eating an optimal diet (see our fertility diet info) will help things along as well.
After completing the cleanse you may want to continue the liver products (liver caps or milk thistle tinct. and tea) for at least 3 months and add Vitex as well until things are back to balance.
Hi T,
The cleanse is a first step, on it’s own it will not clear the endo. The Fertility Cleanse helps the body to get id of excess hormones and support the liver. This is a great and necessary first step but additional steps will need to be taken. You can learn more about FSH here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/fsh-fertility.html . But you need to realize there is an underlying issue here. We can segment it into ‘Endo’ or ‘high fsh’ but both of those labels are symptoms from something deeper happening in the body. They are a result, not the cause. For the best results I would suggest book an email fertility consultation so time can be taken looking at your health history, diet, menstrual/fertility cycle, etc. and suggestions based on your personal situation can be made.
Hi my name is Miranda and I was searching the web and came across your site. Im 20 yrs old and my husband of almost 2 yrs is 24. We have been trying to have a baby. I was having extremely painful periods, so I went to the Dr and had surgery, my Dr said I had a very MILD case of endometosis (he burned it off), and 1 very healthy ovary but 1 very “ugly” ovary as he called it. He said if I was 34 and already had a few kids he would of removed the bad ovary while in surgrey but bc of my age, etc, he didnt. Anyway sorry this is so long! But Im looking into the cleanse kit and Im wandering if its for me. Since my surgery my periods are near as painful, but Im having VERY LONG cycles.. Ive been up to 61 days before! Its been crazy! Its been 35-61 day cycles and every month is so different. Im wandering why. And when trying to have a baby, the long cyles throw everything off. Ive taken the $ tree test and when I get a postive one we BD but nothing so far.. Do you think the cleanse kit is what I need? Any advice or info would be very appreciated!! Thanks so much:)
Oh, and in 3 months it will be 1 yr since my surgrey.. Thanks!
I have undergone unsuccessfully 3 cycles of injectable IUIs (Follistim and Ganarelix). I want to try the cleanse to clean out all the medications I have put in my body. I know that you shouldn’t try to conceive while on the cleanse due to the possibility of passing on the toxins to the growing baby. But is it still safe to try to conceive right after the cleanse is over (i.e. the next cycle)? Are there remaining toxins in the body that need time to pass through before trying to conceive?
Hi Miranda,
I am wondering why your ovary health is so poor if you only have mild endometriosis. Do you have other fertility issues that may have caused this? If you have not read our article on understanding endometriosis, and what natural remedies are best for that condition, you can do so here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/endometriosis
The Fertility Cleanse in general is a great way for anyone who is experiencing fertility challenges to create a foundation for hormonal balance and a healthy uterus for implantation. Fertility Cleansing creates a “clean slate” within the body that helps the body to respond and utilize other natural remedies better. It is difficult for me to answer your questions based on just a small piece of the bigger picture of your health. It is helpful for me to know your lifestyle, health history, fertility challenges and detailed questions. Please consider a consultation.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
I have PCOS and have not had a bleed since taking prescribed med back in Feb 2011. I was taking metphormin which has never helped to regulated my menstrual only makes me nausea.
I started the fertility cleanse on Jan 7 and on Jan 8 I started to see only slight trace of pink after using the bathroom and wiping. I have not actually spotted only see when I go to the bathroom and wipe. I did not stop the cleanse and the signs on my menstrual have not occurred everyday (not seen on tissue after wiping) however after a week, Jan 14 I see signs of it again. I continued with the cleanse but worried that I may should have stopped due to the signs of my menstrual. I don’t think my cycle is considered “on” since I have not had to wear anything for spotting or flow.
Also, I am pass day 8 but can I start using progesterone cream with the cleanse?
Hi Danielle,
It is fine to begin to try to conceive the cycle after the Fertility Cleanse. Many of the toxins should be cleansed from the body, though some may remain. This is normal because we are exposed daily to environmental toxins. If you are concerned be sure you are supporting your body in full detoxification during the Fertility Cleanse by sweating and drinking plenty of water during the cleansing phase. This is essential to complete removal of toxins/excess hormones. Consider sauna, hot baths, aerobic exercise. Drink plenty of clean water.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
Hi Lataya,
If you are only spotting or have hints that you may begin your period, you may continue on with the Fertility Cleanse. The progesterone cream is best started after the Fertility Cleanse is over.
Best Wishes,
Dalene
