Hi there, I have a honey, bee propolis blend that was blended fresh for me at a local raw honey shop. I noticed when the guy was blending it he used a wooden spoon. When I went to take it yesterday I noticed the propolis had seperated from the honey a bit...not too much, but some. So I mixed it with a plastic spoon because I didn't have a wooden one handy . Why do you mix herbs with wooden spoons? Is it okay to take the honey mixture (1 t daily) on a regular metal spoon, or should that be wooden also?
