what now?

Postby jen24 » Tue Oct 20, 2009

Last week I had a laparoscopy and a minor miracle happen my tubes were both open and there was minor scar tissue. Last time I had a laparoscopy the news were not that great. My left tube was closed and there was major scaring. The only hope of conceiving was through IVF. Last summer I started a gluten free/ dairy free diet and last week we proved that the diet worked!! Know what? I know that I am going to do my cleansing kit next month but should I still do the endo kit or should I try any of the other kits?

Hi Jen24,

That is wonderful news! Have you read our new article on eating a gluten free diet and how Celiac Disease may affect Fertility? I am glad to hear that a gluten free diet helped you so much! It would be wonderful for you to share your story at the bottom of this article! Click on this link to read the article: http://natural-fertility-info.com/can-a-gluten-free-diet-improve-fertility.html

If you could let us know what your fertility issues are, for example endometriosis, PCOS, ect. I would be able to guide you in the right direction.

Well we really do not know what a main problem is, they (the doctors) have many theories but no real answers. That fact of the matter is that I have conceive 3 times naturally and none with medical help. At one point they thought it was endometriosis, natural cell killers and even PCOS (I do not have the classic symptoms). Now my doctor has brought into question my egg quality. To answer your question we have ISSUES!!!! In all seriousness I believe that my main problem has to do with my digestive track. I have a very slow digestive system (not regular at all) and I know that my body does not absorb folic acid nor VB12 or B6. If you have any suggestions send them my way.

Dalene,

I have done the fertility consultation and I believe you were the one that responded to me. I believe that your suggestions were the cleansing and the endo kit. The inf. that you gave me at that time was very useful and I was very grateful for the inf . I believe things have change for me after the laparoscopy. According to my doctor I am most fertile now, after the surgery. For that reason my husband and I decided to do a fertility cycle next month. Should I do the cleansing or just order the pregnancy prep kit? I just feel that I need to do something to improve my chances ... I need more direction on what to order from your web site.

Hi Jen24,

Since you have already done a Fertility Cleanse I would say that you should not do one again. We recommend doing a cleanse once or twice a year depending on the situation. It also sounds like you would not have enough time to do the cleanse.

The Pregnancy Preparation Kit would be a good place to start. After reading over each of your messages in this thread I am still confused as to what your biggest fertility issue is. When you say "According to my doctor I am most fertile now, after the surgery. For that reason my husband and I decided to do a fertility cycle next month." do you mean you are going for IVF? Before your doctor said you may have poor egg quality, so how are you most fertile now?

Are you interested in improving egg quality?

Waiting for your response,

Dalene

I think what my doctor meant when he said, “you are most fertile now” was that now that my tubes are “clean” I have a better chance to conceive. He made a “egg quality” comment because he can’t explain why I have to gotten pregnant. Is he right, I do not know but I think after going to whole spectrum of fertility treatments and not being able to conceive that could be an issue. Next cycle my husband and I will try some simulation using Follistim.
I will go ahead and order the Pregnancy-Preparation-Kit. If you have any more sugestion on what to order let me know.

Hi Jen24,

Thanks for clearing that up. Another great new kit we have to boost overall fertility is the Fertility Smoothie Pack. Superfoods should be a part of every couple's fertility diet to help bridge the gap for proper nutrition, nourish the egg and the sperm, and help to balance hormones.

Getting your body into completely ready nutritionally for conception is a good idea. Your husband can also use this kit.

Let us know how it goes,

Dalene
