I'm on day three of the cleanse, and I woke up today feeling some tenderness in my right ear and eye. It feels like it may be a sinus issue (as this is a bit of a trouble area for me), but I was wondering if it could have anything to do with the cleanse?

This is a new one for me. I have not heard of anyone having tenderness in ear and eye. Are sinus infections or excess mucous a common issue?

I get sinus infections from time to time, and often have sinus headaches. I had some chills and aches yesterday, so I likely have a bit of a flu.

I didn't drink very much water for the first few days of the cleanse (beginning today I am drinking lots), and I wonder if that could have had anything to do with any of this?

Hi Lynda,

You need to be drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day during the cleanse. Drinking plenty of water will also help with your sinus issues and with your flu, if you have that.

I am a sufferer of sinus issues, so I feel your pain and irritation.
