Hello,

I just purchased the Castor oil pack. I'm hoping it will help my wicked ovarian cyst pain....it hasn't been this bad since I was on Clomid (5 years ago)!!!!

As embarrassing as this is, I honestly don't have the money to purchase the Massage DVD, so I'm hoping the Castor Oil pack will benefit me even without massage???

I've used herbs/natural treatments for years but this is all new to me, so I have a question....

The instructions say to use 2-3 times a week and I believe I read for 30-60 minutes, but how long should I use this? Is it safe to use 2-3 times a week continuously Until I get pregnant?

Yes it is fine to use the Castor Oil Packs 2-3 times a week. You could use them everyday if you would like to. Don't use them while you are on your period.

Step-by-step instructions for the Castor Oil Pack
1. Place the flannel in the container. Soak it in castor oil so that it is saturated, but not dripping.
2. Place the pack over the affected body part.
3. Cover with plastic.
4. Place the hot water bottle over the pack. Leave it on for 45-60 minutes. Rest while the pack is in place.
5. After removing the pack, cleanse the area with a dilute solution of water and baking soda.
6. Store the pack in the covered container in the refrigerator. Each pack may be reused up to 25-30 times.

For Ovarian Cysts: Apply for a total of 3 months.

Yes, I am currently taking Vitex. I've been on it for nearly 5 months now....its helping my cycles but for some reason I've had a lot of cyst pain the past few months, on & off.

Now after I saturate the flannel cloth with Castor Oil, I use it, then put it directly in the fridge, correct? Do I need to wash the flannel between uses or just continue to place it in a container in the fridge?

Place the cloth in a glass jar and store in the fridge until next use. I would let it sit out to warm up a little before you use it.

I would think so as it is an external therapy and has no hormonal effects directly. You may want to double check with your doctor just to make sure.
