Hi,

The specific temperature is not as important as the jump in temperature which signals ovulation... or the drop which shows that the menstrual cycle is about to begin. If the temperature rises and stays high then this is a possible pregnancy. Hope that helps.

Re: Printable BBT Chart in Celsius

Here is a link for a chart in celsius. My SIL used this site frequently for charting and recommends it.

Heathir,

Thanks so much for posting this link for blank charts...I can never remember where I "bookmarked" the others I've found online.

Also, thanks for this site. It's so wonderful to hear other womens' stories and learn more about our bodies.

Have a great day!

Hi, I am new to the temperature charting, but mine seems low. I have charted all week long, but simultaneously got a head cold. Could that make my temperature drop? All week my temperature has been 97.24-97.47, and today it was 97.1. That just seems so low, even though I read Hethir's post that the actual temp doesn't matter.

That seems ok. When you ovulate it shoots up to the 98 range. Mine usually fluctuates like yours. If you are using the basal thermometer, it does seem low. I'm sure it is fine.

I have never charted before. Did not think it was useful for someone who don't really have cycles. Would it still be a good idea to chart when you dont have a cycle unless it is induced by provera?

I've never used this method...thanks for the Babytalkzone link. Virtuouswoman, I was told by a nurse years ago that one can ovulate while taking the provera so it's worth a shot. Best wishes!

I am not taking Provera anymore. Everything is so eratic - cervical position, mucus etc. I would guess so would my temperatures. But, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try :)
