Hello All. I have read so many things about lubricants. A lot about Pre Seed that sounds great. I do take evening primrose oil from the last day of my period until I ovulate and it seems to be working great so CM is not a issue any more. We have used massage oil in the past but have stopped while TTC. We wanted to know if it is safe to use vitamin E oil. Is it sperm friendly? Like I said CM is not a problem but, we certainly want to keep the spark going and were looking for alternatives to message oils. Any reccomendations.

I think oil in general would not be a sperm friendly lubricant. It is thick and acidic in nature (nuts are more acidic than alkaline) sperm likes an environment that is more on the alkaline side. My favorite sperm friendly lubricant is from Emerita as it is water soluble. You can find it here: http://www.naturalfertilityshop.com/Nat ... p/emnl.htm . I have personally tried PreSeed to see what all the talk was about, and while it was a good lubricant, the little tiny serving sizes were no fun, it dries up quickly, and it ends up being a pretty pricey product. Just my 2cents.

Thank you Hethir. It is alot cheaper then Pre Seed and other sperm friendly lubricants I have found in drug stores (typically $18.00). I'm going to give it a try. I'll definitely let you know what I think.

I've used PreSeed for years. And while its a advertised as a lubricant, its best if its used only when trying to conceive. Its more than just extra lubrication. PreSeed inhances and improves the inner environment making it an excellent place for the sperm to be.

I swear by it. I had to have multiple IUI's while trying to conceive our second child. My body was killing off the sperm before it could get to where it needed to be. That seems to be a common thing with PCOS, although no one has proven why. Some believe the hormones imbalance and IR make your system more acidic killing the poor guys !! I used PreSeed for my 3rd and 4th child and got pregnant immediately, natural intercourse, No IUI's.

It is great stuff while TTC. The studies show an amazing benefit to using it during IF cycles, or while trying to conceive naturally.

Dr. E is amazing, she's the creator, and is always there to answer any questions you have. She wrote a great article for my site once about cervical mucus. Many women going through IF issues don't know how much of a part CM plays.... I know I didn't know anything about it until years after.....
