New & Hopeful!!!!

Postby NaturallyBlessed7 » Mon Jun 14, 2010

Hello All,

I am 30 yrs old and newly married (9 months). After what I thought was a successful myomectomy (i.e. fibroid surgery) in November 2009, I discovered by way of an HSG two weeks ago that one fallopian tube is blocked and the other has a lot of scar tissue from the surgery. Initially, I was devastated. After receiving unwavering support from my husband (that we will conceive) and trusting in my faith, I decided to conduct research online to determine whether there were any natural treatments for blocked fallopian tubes. Gratefully, I found "Naturalfertilityshop.com" and have been reading and investigating the Fertility Solutions.

Thankfully, my uterus is fully healed and is in great shaped to carry a child. I believe in Natural medicine and in the mind body connection. I am interested in understanding whether the castor oil pack can assist fallopian tubes blocked by scar tissue from a surgery versus blocked fallopian tubes caused by PID. I know that the healing and treatment process can be different for everyone, but how long would have I have to do the Castor Oil pack until I know that my fallopian tubes are clear? It is 2 weeks, 3 months, at least one year? I want to manage expectations with myself and I want to allow the needed time for the treatment(s) to work.

To unblock fallopian tubes quicker, should I do the castor oil pack while taking Vitalzym or other systemic enzymes which rids the body of scar tissue?

Thanks!

Welcome NaturallyBlessed,

Yes! Combining the Castor oil packs with systemic enzymes would be more effective at breaking up the scar tissue and adhesions as well as dissolving the scar tissue.

Natural therapies need to be used for many months of consistent use to be effective. For these it would be around 2-4 months of consistent use, maybe beyond that depending on the extent of damage. The Castor Oil packs will be just as effective for someone with Blocked Fallopian Tubes from PID as someone with scar tissue from damage. The difference is importance of controlling active infection from PID, though you can also get an infection from surgery, that is where the addition of Women's Best Friend is helpful.

Thanks for finding us and for your kind words.

I have great News!

Since I started with the Fertility Cleanse and the FallopianWise, I have experienced some success. I have started to ovulate again!!!! The Castor Oil packs, the Fertility Massage, and the Zymessence are all working toward clearing up my blocked fallopian tubes.

Even with my hectic and extensive work travel schedule, I'm finding ways to bring the natural therapies with me on my work trips so that I don't lose momentum and delay the effectiveness of my treatments.

I'll continue to post on my progress over the next several months.

Thank you so much Hethir, Dalene, and Team. I'm so glad that I found NaturalFertilityShop!

Dalene,

Now its fully confirmed. I didn't have doubts, but I wanted to be certain that I was ovulating again for sure. This is the 2nd time that I seen signs that I'm ovulating again. Last month and now this month. Words cannot express my joy. Also, I didn't realize that the Zymessence was also good for adrenal fatigue. With my line of work and my busy global travel schedule, it's helping me a lot. I have a lot more energy these days and the digestive system is functioning optimally...and even my mood has improved.

I'm using the free "Period Tracker Lite" iPhone App to track my period etc. and so far my period start dates, my fertile days, and my ovulation dates are spot on accurate. Therefore, I have been reviewing the dates for the rest of the year when I can TTC.

My husband and I are planning to start TTC next month during my fertile period (including and the day that I'm ovulating). When should I STOP taking the Zymessence and the Women's Best Friend supplements? When should I stop doing the Castor Oil packs?

Should I stop:
a) before I enter my fertile days? OR
b) at the first signs of possible pregancy (the following month if I don't get my period)?

I'm not sure of the affects of the supplements and herbs during the conception period or after. I would really appreciate your guidance on this.

Also, due to my stress and BMI, I have taken diet and exercising a lot more serious. Now I'm going to the gym (when ever possible) and doing 1 hour cardio (walking on the treadmill mid to high incline at a moderate to fast pace) and light weights. Should I avoid working out on my fertile days?

Do you know what the affects are of taking blood pressure medications while trying to conceive? I'm not on the meds now, but may be soon per doctor's orders. Besides trying to be healthy for me and my baby, I'm also working out to manage and lower my blood pressure.

I heard that travel affects a woman's hormones. Is this true? I was doing a lot of international travel in 2007. My fibroids grew significantly between 2007 and 2008 - hence prompting the the need to have the myomectomy surgery in 2009. Could Travel have been the primary culprit of my fibroid growth? Long term, I probably need to find another job, but in the short term are there any herbs that I can take to help manage my hormone/estrogen levels with a ongoing extensive travel schedule?

I know that this is a lot of information...but I've very hopeful and optimistic that you'll provide the guidance that I need on these matters.

Regards,
Monica

Hi Monica,

Zymessence may be taken everyday, it does not matter what day of your cycle, it is not a fertility herb so does not effect hormones. Zymessence should not be used while on blood pressure medications. Zymessence may be used in pregnancy, you can learn more about that here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/fertility-enzyme-therapy

When you see that you are ovulating stop taking the WBF and stop doing the castor oil packs.

I know travel can effect your menstrual cycle, but I am not sure how it is related? Altitude or stress?

As far as high estrogen goes you may want to learn about the supplement DIM. There is now a natural way to rid the body of an overabundance of estrogen: a supplement called DIM. Learn more here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/estrogen-dominance

There is no way for me to know if travel may have contributed to your fibroid growth. Usually there are many different factors playing into fertility issues such as uterine fibroids.

Dalene,

Thanks for your response regarding when to stop taking WBF. I knew not to do the Castor Oil Pack when I was menstruating, but I didn't know not to do it when I was also ovulating.

1) If I have to start taking high blood pressure medication and could not continue taking Zymessence, what are the chances that my fallopian tubes may get blocked again or that the scar tissue could continue forming? Would the Self Fertility Massage and the Castor Oil Pack be effective enough to keep my fallopian tubes clear and healthy without taking Zymessence?

Regarding travel and the cause of estrogen dominance and/or reproductive issues, it may be a combination of things: Altitude during flight, time on the plane (i.e. hours sitting on long distance flights), being in a different country, having to adjust to time difference (i.e. fatigue) with exposure to xenoestrogens and pesticides through water source, food, products, air etc. Of course, the stress does not help. I will do more research on my own; especially to advise other professional women whose careers require a lot of domestic and/or international travel. A follow-up Full Body Detox & a good deep tissue massage seem to be ideal when returning from these trips. I wish I knew then, what I know now.

Anyway...I'll read more about DIM and make a decision on whether I will add it to my treatment program.

2) One last open question from my previous email was regarding exercise while ovulating or during a woman's fertile days. Can you advise on this? I know that exercise is great for mind and body health, but I've read that women sometime overdo it while TTC and that excessive exercise may prevent conception. Similar to the restrictions on taking WBF and doing the Castor Oil Pack while menstruating or ovulating, should I AVOID exercising while TTC or ovulating? Does exercise during the ovulation period help or hurt?

I am 200% committed to educating myself in my healing!

Monica

1) The SFM and Castor Oil will deffinitely help, but they do not work the same as Zymessence. The systemic enzymes break down and actually eat away and dissolve blood clotting and fibrin. Fibrin is what makes up the scar tissue and adhesions. The massage manually breaks down scar tissue and promotes blood flow for healing. The castor oil stimulates blood flow as well and the oil combined with the cloth draws out toxins and promotes deep healing.

2) Extreme exercise during ovulation the time when you are actively ttc may not be best, it is very stressful for your body. Talking a brisk walk for 30 minutes a day during that time would be better. Some activity is better than stagnation.
