Hi;
i was recently diagnosed by my acupuncturist as having a cold uterus and kidney yang. she told me to use a heating pad between menstruation and ovulation on the lower part of my abdomen, but didn't have a good answer for how many minutes each day to do it for and how many times a day? i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts??
Thanks!

Self Fertility Massage may also help a "cold uterus". You could use the heating pad up to 3 times a day I would think... but electric heating pads may emit small amounts of radiation, you may want to opt for a hot water bottle or rice pack that can be warmed in the oven. Do not heat your abdomen past 10 min? I would also love to hear anyone elses thoughts on this.

hi: so i just had my embryo transfer and pregnancy test, and thank God, it was positive! my question is about eating cold foods again (specifically ice cream : )). when can i start eating ice cream again? i can deal with not eating raw vegetables and having cold drinks, but ice cream is something i would really like to eat again...
thanks!

Congratulations! There was actually a study recently that cited whole milk ice cream helped sustain pregnancy due to the good fat content. I don't know where the study is, I will have to look into it, but you should be fine. Also, eating raw veggies and fruits are very beneficial to pregnancy.
