I started taking Chaste Tree Berry about a month or so ago ( thanks to the info on this site!! ) to help bring my period back 31 months postpartum.

Well, it seems to be working, because last night I noticed a large spot on my underwear! Woohoo!!
This morning I noticed more recurring flow, light, but it is definately there. ( Had to dig out my dusty tampons! LOL)

My question is, does the "flow" kind of trickle for a cycle or two before it returns completely back to normal? What should I expect to see?
I am suspecting this may be the case after being on vacation for the last 2 plus years... I began charting this immediately by the way.

I can't believe I got my period back!!! I really owe it to the CTB though. Woohoo!!! We have been wanting to try for baby number 2 .

Hi Anya,

That is great news! Good for you. No one can say for sure what you flow will be like once it comes back. There is no way of knowing. Lets take this one step at a time and just celebrate you got your AF back!

Alrighty! Well here is a followup:

For two days I had somewhat scanty flow, and then it stopped completely! I was like what? that's it??? LOL

I wondered if it was just my body trying to regulate itself after such a long vacation from menstruating!
( I just didnt expect such scanty amounts for only 2 days...)

A couple of friends of mine told me their periods returned as before, but their bodies are not mine..)

Anyways, I am still taking the Vitex which I am sure will continue to help. The MAca is the next item to try.

Our Fertilica Vitex contains Dong Quai as well. I am not sure what brand you are taking.

Some info on Dong Quai-

In traditional Chinese medicine Dong Quai is referred to as a blood tonic as it has a general effect on circulation. This could be helpful for women experiencing pale menstrual flow, absent periods, and weakness after periods (in TCM this is called blood deficient). It has also been shown to improve red blood cell counts. It is traditionally used for situations of stagnation (PCOS, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and fibroids) as it increases the blood flow to the reproductive system reducing congestion and pain.
