Having PCOS, I don't always have a period and when I do they are very irregular.
Does this mean that I should take my temperature every day? And how would I know when to use an ovulation kit.
Should I do that every day also? I really want to give this the best shot I possibly can.

I also have PCOS and I'm tracking my temps online. I usually have very irregular and unpredictable periods but for the last two months I've actually had a "normal" cycle. I have seen charts that have had cycle lenghts up to 60+ days on them and the person still ovulated but not on day 14. It's a tool to use to find your body's pattern and that takes a few months/cycles at least. It may seem like a long time to wait but I feel it's better to know/see what your pattern is than just doing nothing or guessing. According to my temperature chart I ovulated this last cycle and I'm still waiting to see if I did this cycle. The thing that has made the fastest difference in my cycles is progesterone cream. I love the stuff. I have also changed my lifestyle a lot with eating more oraginic, following the guidelines of the PCOS diet and I use the castor oil packs and fertility massage. I am cleansing right but the supplements I will resume taking are Maca, red raspberry leaf tea, a prenatal and omega 3 as well as the progesterone cream. So far I have seen amazing results and I have only been making these changes since January. I have only started charting since Feb. when I got my first cycle in two years!
