In Search of Help

Postby brandy » Wed Mar 10, 2010

Hello everybody,

I am new to this site anad it appears to be very informational. My fiance and I experienced an ectopic pregnancy in September last year. I just ordered the Maca and have talked with fiance about us both taking it. I had laproscopic surgery in November to clear my tubes and found that I have slight endometreosis and adhesions which the Dr. removed. Does anyone have any suggestions other than Maca that would help increase fertility? I walk 30-40 min a day when it is nice out, do yoga occasionally, and eat fairly decent. Guess maybe I am just anxious to get a bfp. I look forward to getting to know everyone and thanks in advance for all the help!

Hi Brandy,
Welcome! I'm sorry for your loss last year. I love the information here. I have been taking maca for about two months now and it really has helped my energy level. I recently started doing the self fertility massage and I would HIGHLY recommend it. It will help break up adhesions and scar tissue, plus it just makes me feel great. :) I would also check out the kits, they have some specifically for endometreosis. Have you been charting your temps? How long have you been ttc?

Hi DeeDee,

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have not been charting temps, as I never fully understood that part. I do chart everything else though, ooops with the exeption of cervical position. We have only been trying since December. After the OB said it was alright post surgery. My sister bought us the fertilaid for men and women and we have been taking that, but I can't say that I have seen a change. Some cramping when taking the vitamins, sure this is due to it contracting the uterine muscles.
I have been doing the fertility massage for a few days. I could fall asleep to that
I am hoping the Maca helps us out. I am a full time college student, will be 31 this year, and will be taking off after the 22nd of this mo. for 90 day break. I could use the extra energy. Have you heard of any other combination of natural fertility herbs? Thank you again for your warm welcome and information.

Brandy,
Sorry I haven't been on in a while, life has been kind of crazy for me lately. I hope you are doing well. How is the journey going so far?
I started temping last month and I am recording it on a paper chart as well as on fertilityfriend.com. They make it really easy to understand. You just put in your temp. and you can chart your CM and cervical possition too. It shows you if/when you ovulated or not. You have to stick with it through a whole cycle. My chart kept changing until it got the right base line from temping regularly. It was amazing because I actually ovulated this last cycle!! No baby though. I have started cleansing and so I have been feeling a little under the weather. Emotionally I feel good knowing I'm doing something to help my body heal and grow stronger. I was thinking about any other herbs that would be good for endo. and I was wondering if enzyme therapy with omega 3's would help?

Talk to you soon,
DeeDee

Hi Brandy,

Welcome! Have you learned about Fertility Enzyme Therapy? This may be something you would be interested in learning about since you have some adhesions and endometriosis. Fertility Enzyme Therapy is a method for helping the body clear itself of excess tissue, breakdown scar tissues, cleanse the blood, increase circulation to the reproductive organs and reduce immunological response. To learn more go to this link: http://natural-fertility-info.com/fertility-enzyme-therapy

Sorry all, haven't been online in awhile. I think I will try the charting in a cpl mo. DeeDee. I just recieved the fertility cleanse today. So, I am going to take a month or two off from trying.

I am sorry for your loss as well, Mel. I know the month to month feeling of hurt when no positive results. I started taking Maca last mo. along with my fiance. I am hoping the cleanse will help me out. Good luck to you through your journey. I will keep you in my prayers as well.

I just want to thank everyone for being so awesome and supportive!
