New to castor oil packs

Postby TTCNaturally » Wed Mar 03, 2010

I bought caster oil tonight to start doing packs and had a few questions. One, is all castor oil the same? I want to make sure what I got will work. Two, is there a reason to store the pack in the fridge between uses? Wouldn't that make it cold before the next use and take awhile to heat up again? Three, what would be a good routine for doing the packs for someone with endo, pcos, and frequent periods. I was thinking once daily whenever I am not bleeding. Thanks!

One, is all castor oil the same? Generally, yes
Two, is there a reason to store the pack in the fridge between uses? To keep the oil on the cloth from going rancid.
Three, what would be a good routine for doing the packs for someone with endo, pcos, and frequent periods. Once daily is great, while not menstruating.

Hope that helps :)
Best wishes,
