what to do after a miscarrage ?

Postby marialv » Mon Aug 31, 2009

Hello every one

This is my firs time on this site and I have a question? What do you do after a misscarriage? I want to retry again but not sure what would be the best way to ago about it. the couse of my infertility is pcos. IT's been about two months since my loss. And I still have not had a normal cycle. Would any one had and Idea of what would be the best way to go about this. I do not want to pump my body full of hormones (my gyn gave me two options either start on provera to start my period of get on birth control?) does any one have a more natural way I can go about getting my body back on track?

Hi,

So sorry about your loss. It takes some time for the cycles to come back normally. After my miscarriages my cycles were screwed up for a couple of months.

Do you know what the cause was? What do you think it was?

The first and foremost thing you may want to look into is eating a PCOS diet. Women who are insulin resistant are also 4-5 times more likely to have a miscarriage. Imbalanced insulin levels due to PCOS make it difficult for the embryo to attach properly to the uterus. So focusing on the diet is really important. You can learn more about this here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/pcos-fertility-diet
