Hi,

If you think stress may be playing a big role in the irregular cycle of your menstruation, you may want to look into relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga. Taking time to clear your mind of its non stop thoughts can help to reduce stress and induce a peaceful state of mind. Women who are under constant stress produce prolactin, cortisol and other hormones, which can interfere with or even block regular ovulation. Another fertility bonus to meditation is the start of a new habit which helps you to gain control over your thoughts, which is the first step in manifesting your pregnancy.

I also have an irregular menstruation, it is so frustrating because i can be bleeding everything from 4 days to 3 months before i stop bleeding.....!! and then it takes everything between 3 days to 2 months before it starts all over again, now i have been bleeding since beginning of january.. not easy to get pregnant like that..
the only thing that helps is birth controll pills, witch i will never ever use again now when i know how harmful it is.. The other thing that helps is to use the cream progesta care!! the only problem is that i dont know when im ovulating so im using the cream constantly... so i still wount get a regular menstruation. The reson why im bleeding now is that i stoppt the cream for a week or to, thinking it would make it easier to get pregnant, but i had to start on the cream again cause i started bleeding so mutsch and it wouldnt stop... and now 2 months later it still wount stop. im so frustrated
It has been like this since the first day i got my menstruation when i was around 15.

I can see that the progesterone drops are to be bought here, i will try them but right now they are out of stock.

I am writing a lot now and i hope i am following the rules of where and what to write.

I just came back from the gynecologist.. he was trying to take some tests but it hurt so mutch i was crying and crying so he had to stop,, he said it is not normal, i also have pain when me and my man are having sex..

I am writing all this hoping that someone has any advise for me... or has the same issue?

I have a 9 year old son, but im not with the father. At that time i got pregnant the first month, but i was 19 now i am 30.
my boyfriend also got chekt today, he was also not normal, there was un normal many sperm and still good quality but to little amount.

I hope anyone out there will reply..

Hi liila79,

It is extremely important to know when you are ovulating to take the Progesterone Cream. For regular use to balance excess estrogen or increase your progesterone, begin taking take from the day after ovulation and continue until menses. If you don’t know when you ovulate, you should purchase an “at home” ovulation test, as it is extremely important to know when you ovulate when trying to conceive. Most women ovulate around days 12 -14 of there cycle. If you use ProGest Cream all of the time it will actually supress ovulation, making it impossible to conceive a baby. Please follow the directions on the product exactly to achieve results.

You should read about irregular menstruation in the forum or on our website. The best herbs for regulating menstruation are Vitex and Dong Quai. Used over time (3-6 months and beyond) these herbs help to regulate the menstrual cycle and balance the hormones without containing any hormones themselves.

I don't know if you've been diagnosed or had any tests run by your OB/GYN or RE, but I've experienced the same issues for years, I have PCOS.

Irregular periods is one of the most common "signs" of PCOS. Our hormones are so out of whack that we don't ovulate every month and therefore don't have regular cycles/periods.

I also experience pain during OB/GYN exams, they've told me it should not hurt this much, blah blah blah. They're always so helpful (haha, not!) And also pain during intercourse or after. The pain I experience is due to a tilted uterus and ovarian cysts. If you have cysts, boy those can cause some immense pain especially during intercourse and a pap.

Have you been diagnosed or tested for any infertility issues?

Hi there,

I have a question about my cycle.....I have been taking Vitex, Maca for about 4 months now and for the last 2 wks been taking Dong Quoi. I started charting my cycle in Feb/Mar and it started out 44 days, then 32, 28, 24 now I'm on day 18 and starting what I think is my period. It certainly is not heavy and I have no cramping or symptoms at all. Should I continue taking these herbs?? Is it just regulating itself?? I also take spirulina, efa's, bee pollen, royal jelly and prenatal.

Thanks,
Lisa :?

Lisa,

I have taken all three of those herbs before, although currently I'm only on Vitex and Maca. I do know they all have their own individual uses but all are used to help regulate your cycle, and improve your hormone function, etc.

I do know that I had breakthrough spotting while taking Vitex. Each time I've taken it, I've had spotting one or two days out of the 6 months I took it. I do know that spotting is a sign of irregular hormones (many experience it while starting or stopping birth control pills) but I've also read it can be caused by hormone regulation as well (Hethir or Dalene can probably answer this better)

Spotting/bleeding can also be a sign of other female issues, have you contacted your doctor about this to have some tests done?

Hi,

I have always had regular periods, ie: every 26-27 days! But i have just noticed that this month i am on day 32 for the first time in my life! Even more strange my nipples have been sooooo painful for 4 days now and 6 days ago i had very brief spotting and assumed it was my period arriving, (i get spotting a couple of days before a period usually anyway)..but nothing has happened? :? My GP has done all the tests in the past and i am okay. I have been no more stressed than usual.. have been eating healthy and taking all my supplements for the past 2 and a half months. I am feeling slight menstrual cramping , but very mildly and that has been for the past week or more? :?:
Any ideas? Would love to hear from Hethir or Dalene on this or anyone that may know/or not!

Thanks and good luck to all :P

Dear Pamela, thank you for answering to my post earlier.
Im sorry about my english, it is not so good.. I wrote a long mail, but had to give up. Here is a shorter version.. I dont know what kind of tests they have taken on me, but I have gone to several different gyn. and they find nothing... one actually said that it looks like I can get pregnant very easily... but most of the tests was taken 15 years ago, and they gave up and put me on birth controle pill  till I found out i could take the cream progesta care to avoid bleeding half to death, I was hospilised to get blood tranfer I was at 37 % blood onely, but i refused.. so many years have passed, i got a 10 year old son. But i have tried for 4 years to get pregnant, 2 years now, and 2 years with my ex 5 years ago. I am very tired of this, and most of the time I am on a sick leafe from my doctor.

I take a lot of vitamins and green tea, and noni, and I just started taking something called nutri 5, witch is suppose to be for women in the menopause...... but maybe it will have an affect on me, since also the progesta cream is for women in menopause  I am also taking wild yam, Dong Quai and Damian. and a lot... of other things :(

I will trye to find out what PCOS is and ask if I might have that, I have an appointment with a privat gyn. in aug.

Thank you for the advise...!! you said you had it like this... are you ok now??????

this is all so very mutch depressing, Im very tired and hope the solution to my problem is there.
Last time I went to check my blood level, the woman with the needel, said she had the same problem and after she had 3 kids she removed her uterus :o I dont want that.....But she was happy.. no more bleeding..
