Hi Gretel5,

We do not support the use of DHEA as taking pure DHEA is likely to convert into the wrong hormones and can also go into androgen and estrogen pathways, causing more hormonal imbalance. The goal should be to support the endocrine system by using adaptogen herbs and supportive nutrients to help the body to restore hormonal balance instead of using supplements as hormonal replacement therapy. If you do whish to use DHEA, we would suggest you work closely with your doctor a naturopath so your hormones can be monitored while you are taking DHEA.

Wait to begin the Pregnancy Prep in the Pregnancy Preparation kit until after the Fertility Cleanse is over. You may begin the MorDHA and the Baby and Me Multivitamin while on the cleanse, but you may run out by the time the cleanse is over.

All the Best,

Hi Gretel 5,

MorDHA is an Essential Fatty Acid supplement. EFA's are essential for the production of hormones in both the woman and the man. Hormones use these fats as building blocks for what will become progesterone and many other reproductive hormones. We carry the best essential fatty acids available. Minami Nutrition uses a patented EFP CO2 distillation process to concentrate Omega-3 Fatty Acids in an environmentally friendly, pure, natural and cost effective way.

Zymessenceis a blend of systemic enzymes that has many incredible functions for fertility health. Zymessence also contains enzymes that fight inflammation. Zymessence also helps to prevent the body from reject the fetus as a foreign invader by balancing the immune response. Reduces blood clotting naturally and cleanses the blood.

Hi Hethir,
I want to buy the fertility cleanse for my next cycle but after reading the answers you have given in the FAQ and an answer posted by Dalene in a previous thread, im a little confused as to whether I should do the cleanse during my next cycle or wait. I've been taking agnus castus and dong quai for a month now and Ive read in many places that they take around three months to take effect. Do you recommend I continue taking these herbs for at least the next two months and then do the cleanse or should I do the cleanse and stop taking the two herbs? I dont want to stop them now and go back to square one after the cleanse as my cycles are very very long, around two months....thank you in advance.

I started my cleanse on day 7. Today it's day 11. For the past two days, I haven't been feeling great. A bit if nausea and very tired. I want to sleep all the time, and also some chills, particularly in my stomache. I noticed in another post that you advise against taking other supplements during the cleanse. I did start taking the spirulina, L -Arginine, CoQ10 and Royal Jelly. Is it possible that the combination is throwing my system off? Should I stop taking the other supplements? Have you had any other users with similar symptoms?
Thanks

Hello Promete,

Some women on the cleanse get cleansing symptoms such as the ones you are experiencing. As the liver is cleansing out toxins of your body, they renter the blood stream on there way out and you can experience cleansing symptoms. This is a really good thing as it means the cleanse is working, just drink water, rest and let your body cleanse.

Hi to all! I was wondering about how many cycles should you be on the Fertility Cleanse? Should it be for one month or two? Also, is it ok to drink the fertility smoothies from the kit along with the cleanse? Thanks.

Hi April,

Fertility Smoothies are recommeded as part of the Cleanse.

Any type of cleansing should only be done once or twice a year. Our Fertility Cleanse Kit lasts for one month or one menstrual cycle.

I just started the fertility cleanse and zymessence on February 4th( CD1).I am also doing the castor oil pack and self fertility massage. I normally ovulate around CD14-16 but my OvaCue just confirmed ovulation on CD11.. Is that from the fertility cleanse and zymessence? A little history for myself.. I have 1 blocked fallopian tube on the right side from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy in June 98 which they were able to repair but then years of scar tissue blocked that repair. All other fertility tests shown normal including DH's tests. We aren't TTC while on the cleanse but still monitoring my cycles with the OvaCue monitor. I have been using the OvaCue for almost a year and have never ovulated earlier than CD14, so when it confirmed on CD11, I was like wow what in the world is going on here. Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

Hi jlvanhorn,

Many women experience this. As your body is cleansing (this cleanse is designed to clear out old toxins, excess hormones, ect) your cycle may be different. Your body is adjusting to this cleansing and excess hormones being dumped into your bloodstream to promote a healthy liver and healthy balanced hormones.
